Based in New York City, Risa Matthews is an award-winning entertainment marketer with two decades of experience in media.

As Vice President of brand marketing, experiences and partnerships for MTV Entertainment Studios at Paramount Global, Risa’s team specializes in amplifying press, social and earned media buzz by using

unique consumer touchpoints to create surround sound marketing campaigns.

An instrumental stakeholder in the Consumer Marketing division of the studio group, Risa’s purview focuses on marquee global franchises - Yellowstone, RuPaul’s Drag Race, South Park, The Daily Show, The Challenge - and tentpole events, like the MTV Video Music Awards.

Prior to Paramount, Risa worked at Food Network and HGTV where she spearheaded 360 degree brand partnerships in hit series from Next Iron Chef to House Hunters, as well as with talent like Giada DeLaurentis and Chip & Joanna Gaines. She previously held additional roles in national promotions and public relations.

Risa resides in Brooklyn, is a pop-culture enthusiast, fan of travel and live entertainment and holds a passion for all things design.
