Based in New York City, Risa Matthews is an award-winning entertainment marketer with 20+ years of experience building campaigns that build fandom.
As Vice President of Brand Marketing, Experiences and Partnerships for MTV Entertainment Studios at Paramount Global, Risa led a team focused on amplifying press, social, and earned media for the studio's marquee global franchises — Yellowstone, RuPaul's Drag Race, South Park, The Daily Show, and The Challenge — as well as tentpole events like the MTV Video Music Awards. Her work brought together unique consumer touchpoints to create campaigns that generated cultural buzz well beyond the screen.
Prior to Paramount, Risa worked at Food Network and HGTV where she spearheaded 360 degree brand partnerships for hit series as well as talent. She previously held additional roles in national promotions and public relations.
Risa resides in Brooklyn, is a pop-culture enthusiast, fan of travel, live entertainment and holds a passion for all things design.
